Read-a-Thon Contest

Do you love to open a book and get lost inside a world of adventure or make new friends inside a story? This is the contest for you!

Join Club Amick’s Read-a-thon this October. The Read-a-thon is a competition between Club Amick schools to see which school can read the most books to the most people.

You are encouraged to share your joy of reading and books with as many different people as you can, but you must read to at least: 

• 1 teacher
• 1 family member

• 1 storyteller or other community member

You will receive a Club Amick Read-a-thon tracking card in the mail where you will write the title of each book you read and the name of the person you read your book to. That person will sign beside your entry to show that you read them the book.

At the end of the Read-a-Thon, your school will send all the tracking information to the Club Amick staff at SOLS a winning school will be selected. The person who has read the most books in each school will also win a certificate and prize. Good Luck and Happy Reading!
