Poetry Contest

Club Amick members Grades K-6 are invited to enter February’s poetry contest! The new Club Amick theme is Mysteries, so write us a heart-stopping, suspenseful or scary poem to win! The best poem will be posted on the Club Amick website and published in the next newsletter. The author/s of the winning poem will receive a prize!

Criteria:

• The poem must be submitted on an 8 ½ x 11’ paper
• The poem must be no longer than 21 lines of text
• You must include a visual with your poem (a photograph, drawings, decorations)

We want you to be as creative and original as you can. Poems do not always have to rhyme or be very long to be great! Work together or by yourself.

Poems must be submitted to Club Amick by: March 20^th, 2009
