Neskantaga

Boozhoo! Aanii! Tansi! Hello! In October 2009, Chad Solomon and E.T. the Librarian visited Club Amick readers at Neskantaga Elementary School located in Neskantaga First Nation. Chad held an interactive art workshop for Club Amick readers. Starting out with five basic shapes and some creative thinking, readers learned how to tell their own community history and stories through artwork. Readers showed off their artistic abilities by creating characters and storylines. Chad ended the workshop with game playing for prizes.
